hurleyii 227 Posted February 27, 2016 So does anybody know the difference between a wide frame cub and a skinny? Trying to do d a 3 point for my dads super garden tractor
720nut 4,225 Posted February 27, 2016 Harley, older cubs were all narrow frames newer went to wide frame not sure what model but noticeably different. narrow frames were 1/8in thick where newer were thinner material. If I remember right both were the same width in rear as they both used same cast rearend, this is prior to being bought out by MTD I believe. I can get picture of a narrow frame later if needed. phillobbezoo 139 Posted February 27, 2016 My dad has a super garden tractor with a 3pt on the back, I think it's a 2182? We took frame off a smaller 16 horse tractor everything bolted right up I just had to refab the lift linkage. Check out Extremmotorworks they build 3pt hitches for all cub tractors and they have some other cool stuff to check out

phillobbezoo 139 Posted February 27, 2016 Those ptos are hard to come by, good luck keep your eyes on eBay and get ready to pay up for one if your lucky enough to find one
edlincoln 0 Posted February 27, 2016 I have a pto off of a cub cadet 123. It bolts to the plate on the back of the transaxle. I do not intend to use it and don't have a tiller. The worst part it might take 30-50 to ship from Washington state.
