720nut 4,225 Posted March 10, 2016 Well another visit with Mr. Harry Paterson, always a pleasure Hope know one objects but had banner with me and showed it to Mr. Patterson on left And friend Cork on right. Also spent time talking to his son Scott and wife Kathy about the many pedal tractor implements he builds, here are some Also asked him about Allis 7060, seems it is one of the last to come off the line before Duetz bought Allis Chalmers. We spent 4 hrs. talking with Mr Harry, this man always has a smile and eager to make you feel at home. I was also a pleasure talking with Scott and Kathy. I've enjoyed both visits and look forward to the next
steve-wis 637 Posted March 10, 2016 Very cool! Nothing better than shooting the "tractor breeze" with another guy or two that is as crazy about this stuff as we are! Looks like he does nice work on those implements. And that 7060 is really pretty too! Glad you had such a great day!

TimJr 206 Posted March 10, 2016 Yes, neat place to go. However, I disagree with the 7060. Those ended in 1981. Deutz wasn't in the picture until 1985. It may have been one of the last 7060's, but by far isn't the last of the orange Allis Chalmers tractors. I should scan some pics I have from over there about 15 years ago. I picked up a few NOS Broadmoor hood "T" bolts back then from them. Do they still have the G on the signpost?
Talntedmrgreen 1,978 Posted March 11, 2016 Yea Tim, the G is still up there! Im planning to make a visit in the next couple months and interview Harry for Lawn & Garden Tractor Mag. I have found an original B-1 with the dealer name still stenciled on the frame, and hope for borrow it for some photos out front by the sign and building. 720nut 4,225 Posted March 11, 2016 Tim guess I worded it wrong ment to say it is supposed to be one of the last 7060's to come of the orange line Josh glad to here should make his day, guess I need a subscription to Lawn and garden.
TimJr 206 Posted March 11, 2016 I like finding old tractors where the dealer tag is still legible to see how far it may have traveled in its days. Having an early AC like that B1 going back "home" is pretty special.
