Kohler to Predator engine swap.

The Harbor Freight 22hp V twin engine is a good engine swap for the Kohler twin. The swap is not for the collector but is good for a working tractor. The engine is powerful and fits well into a large frame tractor. My father made adapters from aluminum from Speedy Metals to swap this motor in his tractor. The motor mounts raise the engine, as it has a lower crank center-line then the opposed twin Kohler. The drive shaft to motor needs an adapter also to complete the drive line.
