Kent 436 Posted February 15, 2002 Here's a link to the thread that has the NAPA part number. It is essentially an adapter that allows you to connect a water hose to the valve stem.... In a nutshell, here's what I did: 1. Remove air and valve core, and stand the wheel up on the tire tread, with the valve stem up... Anything you can do to help force any remaining air out will be a plus. 2. Connect adapter to a short hose and to either a funnel or a jug (what I did)... 3. Elevate the jug (or funnel) up above the tire and let gravity do it's thing. You'll need some way to hold the jug up -- it's a slow process, and you certainly can't hold it up yourself that long. 4. Occasionally press the bleed valve to bleed out the remaining air that's being compressed in the tire as it fills with fluid. 5. Fill the tire only to the valve stem. 23 X 8.50 X 12s will take about 6 gallons each, maybe a bit more or a bit less... I've heard of people breaking the bead on a tubeless tire on only the side where the valve stem is, simply pouring the fluid in up to the valve stem, then inflating the tire... It would definitely be the quickest way if you have a compressor, and a belt or compression strap to help reseat the other bead quickly when you apply pressure. Never tried it, so I don't know how well it works....
