Legacy XL dash removal?

Any tips on how to "pull-up" the dash on a Legacy XL to gain access to all the wiring underneath? At fist glance, it looks like a big job.

Should be pretty simple. I had one of the joystick retaining bolt nuts loosen on my XL and had to move the dash. Unbolt it from the screen below and kick the steering boot up and out of the way. I just slid it up high enough to get a wrench in there but the wiring is all out in the open. If you pull the battery theres lots of room to work. Whats the problem you are working on? These are sooooooo much cleaner and simpler than something like a Sunstar.
