SmilinSam 4,030 Posted March 20, 2016 Since I sold off all my Soveriegn style equipment I wanted to put my modified 60" grader blade on the Sunstar. Had to figure out how to put down pressure on the blade by putting some different type of stirrups on it as the footplates on a Sunstar are alot wider.Well, took a pair of Deere 332 brake pedals and did some bending and welding and heres what I came up with.. This works really well, except that you cant pivot the blade the other way as the pedal on the right will hit the rear tire if its angled back on that side. Does what I need around here, mainly crowning the drive.
MikeES 458 Posted March 20, 2016 Once you have done any grading with a center blade, nothing else will do.
acken 173 Posted March 22, 2016 If anyone asks, just say they are optional front wheel brakes.
