I bought the 7119 with two Vanguard engines in a parts box. Some of the parts might have come with the re power kit available from Small Engine Warehouse or it may have just been thrown together by a previous owner. But here is what I found in the box:

Remove the recoil starter

Remove the flywheel cup

Remove the fan retainer

Reinstall the flywheel nut (use a washer) and torque to 125 ft lbs.

Install the stub shaft. Make sure the bolts go through the proper holes in the fan where the fan retainer used to be. Torque to 25 ft lbs.

Line it all up. Torque all drive shaft bolts to 20 ft lbs and finally, bolt down the engine. Like I said, This 7119 had already been re powered so engine mounting holes had already been drilled. Probably ought to drill new holes before you get everything bolted in.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
