Belt length - PTO to 42" mower deck for B110

Does anyone know belt length on this belt? Guess my old age prevents me from reading the NAPA to AC/Simplicty belt guide on our website!

Best info I could find so far is part # 2168171sm, but I don't have a cross reference yet.

I have been using a 1/2 x 44" belt with the half twist and a 1/2 x 35" from the BGB to the PTO. You need a Kevlar belt for the twisted belt.

Thanks, Chris.

I remember quite a few years ago when I needed a belt for a twist application, I just bought what I thought was a very good belt. Sure didn't last long, so then bought a Kevlar, and belt is still good today.

I cheat. Once I find the Simplicity belt # I search ebay for it and generally an ad selling one will have the belt dimensions.

This one came up as 3/8 x 48 which makes me wonder. I have had nothing but 1/2 or 5/8 belts for my Landlords.

About 4 sticky's down in the Tech Tips forum is the 2008 belt and blade reference.

Gives all the simplicity belt numbers up to that point.

At the end is a conversion chart giving all the dimensions.

I was looking at that table, but couldn't see it very clearly, thus obviously had the wrong part number.

Either old eyes or old computer = probably the eyes!

id="quote">LOL, I understand the old eyes (bifocals) ;)Near the center of the menu bar on that page is a zoom feature if you ever look there again. As it pops up, I can't read it even with the bifocals. Zoom is my friend. :o:O
