Swap 16HP Kohler wit h16HP Briggs?

Anyone swap a horizontal shaft 16HP Kohler with a 16HP Briggs?

My first engine cracked the clock when the connecting rod broke and the spare I found is really worn and giving me trouble.

I know the Kohler is supposed to be the stronger of the two engines but I can get a running Briggs cheap.

Any major issues for the swap? Wiring is not a problem, just need to know if there are any difficult fabrications needed.

Bolts right up. Wiring harnes and switch changes. Lots of posts to search thru.

drive shaft coupling is different. Wiring - Kohler is battery ignition, Briggs is magneto.
