looking for hub for 42inch mower

Recommended Posts

I was checking on Jacks small engine this morning and found 2176340 hub N/L this is the hub that bolts your pulley up to center arbor on 42inch mower. Has any body had this problem or is there another part number?

thanks nick

Not sure this will help but for a 42" deck mfg #990784 the center hub is part #172854. Superseded to part #1651404SM.

For a 42" deck mfg #1690252 the center hub is also part #1651404 (now #1651404SM). It's still available.

Also interesting is part #176340 crosses to #1651404SM. Maybe an update to the master parts list lost the leading "2" numbers. Years ago a "2" was added to the beginning of many 5 digit part numbers.

So I would think you're safe to go with #1651404SM.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
