Mouse in the house

The mouse has caused me to do a lot of work. This tractor sat for 4 years while i was going through a divorce and a series of mice have been living and pissing all over it. Rotted the coil, rotted part of the head gasket, and rotted the bottom of the blower cover. The only saving grace is that I snapped the head bolt with enough showing to get a pipe wrench on it. Death to all mice.

Oh, brother. What a bummer! You've got a job ahead of you, but I'm sure it will look better when you get done, than it looked 4 years ago.

By the way, what is the blue tractor behind the AC?

The Blue tractor is a PA panzer 1110 that i picked up here on Long Island. That's like finding a cat at a dog convention. No idea how it made it's way here but I snatched it up for less than I could have ever hoped to get one in PA. It's not a Copar but I had to have it. The drive train is a testament to simple engineering solving a complex issue.

Plus the bench seat was designed as a feature to take "Little Johnny or Molly" along for a ride when you mow. I own Allis, Jacobsen, wheelhorse, and sears. The 60's and early 70's were such a time of innovation in the market. And the market was driven by consumers who's purchase decisions were driven by quality. We will never see that era again in our lifetimes.

Have a 2110 like that, broke an ice pick, trying to remove the "mat' over the head.Ever try to buy an ice pick anymore? That "mat" was tougher than a welcome mat. Cooling chamber was 3/4 full also, basic rule, evict the rodents , evict the black snakes!
