Low Tranny Fluid

Recommended Posts

I've been using my saved-from-the-trees Deutz Allis 1920 as a yard tractor for the last 3 weeks. The hydro has been working great, I found the adjustment to loosen the pivots so the lever moves smoother, and I've been pretty happy with this thing! So far I have around $250 invested in it.

Decided I should check the hydro fluid. Looked at the tube, no fluid visible. Forgot to pick up some Type F in town. Hmmm . . . My Rotary Hoist uses Type F. Used my suction gun and pulled a half-gun out of the hoist tank & put it in the tractor.

Still not in the tube. Pulled a full gun out and put it in, checking as I added. Still not in the tube! I'm thinking those suction guns hold a half quart. So almost a quart added, still not in the tube, and it had been working just fine!

I'm impressed!

I bleed John Deere Green (raised on the big ones), but I can see how these Simplicities could get in a guy's blood, too!

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
