Electric Lift Switch

Where exactly on a Simplicity large frame tractor did they mount the electric lift switch?

Was it in the lower dash? Upper dash?

My 7000 Series doesn't seem to have a open hole in the lower dash and the upper has some holes with little black plastic plugs. Thoughts are appreciated

Top dash, lower hole is the "factory" position. I've also seen it installed in the upper hole. From the install instructions:

The instructions can be downloaded from the Briggs manual site. There were at least 3 mfg#s for the electric lift kit: 990392, 1690043, and 1690392.
