A friend of mine since kindergarten told me about a guy he knew that had a "real nice" old Simplicity that he wanted to get rid of. This is what I ended up with, 8D

Wow is right! That is awesome and you need to snap a bunch more pics of that tractor to document the originality as a comparison for correctness to others. Need pics under the hood, remove the deck and take pics of the bottom side etc.. I have one that I thought was nice, but this one is the real deal. Very nice.

id="quote">Yes, exactly. That old seat cover will stay on to protect the nice one. I almost wet myself when the guy I bought it from took the old cover off to show me the original seat:O

This one is the real truism = only driven by a little old man once in a while on Sundays, and only if it wasn't looking like rain! Only used the mower once to make sure it worked!

"This one is the real truism = only driven by a little old man once in a while on Sundays, and only if it wasn't looking like rain! Only used the mower once to make sure it worked!"...just what I was thinking......it really is an amazing story...maybe it should be an article in that classic tractor magazine.. COOL. JH
