Allis Chalmers 720

I have an Allis Chalmers 720 hydrostat. The tractor will not move in 2nd or 3rd gear, only in 1st. Sometimes 1st will not even work. Does anyone know what possibly this could be and things to try and fix it?

Does it have a Fram filter on the hydro unit?

I would check the drive belts. Take the cover off of the tunnel and see if the driveshaft is turning in 3rd gear.

I have had a fram on my 620 and 720 since 2000 and never had a problem, although what I know now I probably woundnt put another one on.
