60" mower deck height adjustment

Recommended Posts

I need to adjust the height of my 60" deck mounted on a 620 A/C. The manual says turn the two cutting height handles, but this has no effect. Perhaps it's assembled incorrectly, but I can't find any diagrams. I know how to adjust the forward and rear height of the blades compared to each other. I need to raise the height of the entire blades above the ground.

The manual indicates you do NOT use the hydraulic lift to raise the height. Appreciate any help and diagrams. I'd include a picture here, but I don't see a paperclip to attach pictures

Thanks for the digital manual. I have this same manual, but it's in printed form so it's nice to have this.

Unfortunately, all the manual says is adjust the height by turning the height adjustment handles. This doesn't work for me. I'll be re adjusting today, but so far I haven't gotten the blades up to 2" and the manual says they should go to three.

As an example of the inadequate info, the manual doesn't list the proper blade size nor the cc of the holes

I was able to adjust the height by first dropping the deck and loosening the yokes completely. Then I turned the height adjustment to it's highest position. I turned both yokes in completely. Then I reattached the yokes, and it seems to be at it's highest position.

FYI, years ago I had a 21 hp Honda engine dropped in. No more issues fighting the old Onan.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
