fishnwiz 3,290 Posted June 29, 2016 Almost free....and I mean it! NOT going to say what I paid because I do not want anyone to think any less of me then you already do!|) 1967 Yamy 100 YL1-E TwinjetSaw this sitting in a shed under a tarp and HAD to have it! Original paint and paperwork...8K miles Should clean up good! Engine is free but NOT run in 20 years AFTER CLEANUP PICS! NOT TOO SHABBY AT ALL!!
fishnwiz 3,290 Posted June 29, 2016 Actually the above pics do not do this bike justice. Older guy who owned it said he coated the chrome with WD40 a few times a year and the chrome is for the most part rust free!

B10Dave 1,787 Posted June 30, 2016 Nice bike "wiz". I had a black '66 in 1969. Great little bike. Rode it to school most of my senior year in high school.

fishnwiz 3,290 Posted July 1, 2016 Guy coated the darn thing with WD 40 every year while it was parked in his shed. Guy I bought it from was in his 80s and always planned on driving it around his land but never drove it even though it ran when he bought it! I offered to bring it back for him to ride after I get her back up and running but his wife said NO WAY!
macallis180 296 Posted July 5, 2016 That looks good as new! Bet it will run that way, too, when you are done. Yep, you really found the needle in the haystack on this one! Cool, cool, cool. Always had Yamaha when I rode. Really liked them. Congrats!
Hick 2,229 Posted July 5, 2016 Okay, as an old motorcycle enthusiast (you can take that both ways! ^) ), I'm dying to know . . . . HOW MUCH? Sweet ride, BTW!
Stan-Tn 14 Posted July 5, 2016 Wow, first motorcycle I ever had was that model Yamaha. My father bought it used for me to ride to high school. Sure takes me back to 1970. Thanks for the photos! Don't ask me how I know but you can hide a pack of cigarettes under one of those side covers
