rich_kildow 269 Posted July 10, 2016 I have a set of 9W round LED's on a bracket sitting on top of the hood right now for snowblowing, and I love how bright they are. The other thread looking for LED bulbs for a 712H got me thinking: Are there any direct LED replacements for the 4411/PAR36 headlights on the large frame tractors. There are: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=par36+led There are even some Phillips brand ones for under $12, and it looks like they are often for landscaping applications. Has anybody tried these and if so, did they work well as a complete replacement for the sealed beam bulbs in there? Were there any issues with muffler heat cooking the diodes? dentwizz 6 Posted July 10, 2016 I have had some issues with LED retrofitting if there is heat involved. On my HB112 I have a set of round LEDs mounted in the grille and the engine has caused a few pixels to die a few months in. Not sure if it is heat or vibration on the traces.
