Noisy sundstrand

The Sundstrand on my 7117H has a high pitched noise especially when in neutral and low throttle. I can manually move the trunnion a small amount at the pump and the noise will stop. I have changed the filter with no improvement. The transmission operates properly except for the noise. Any ideas on how to stop it? Thanks.

Try adjusting the neutral position.

It makes the noise no matter what position the lever is in. Just more noticeable when in neutral at low throttle. Thanks.

Check fluid level for sure, they get noisy if low. and try compressing the relief valves and reset them. Never know.

Does the 7117 have the remote filter under the tractor ,or mounted on the side by the back wheel? Some one said the larger filters don't make as much noise.

It has the large remote filter under the frame.
