B10 Gear Box Leak

Recommended Posts

427435

My B10 is leaking some oil where the shifting shaft sticks out the back of the gear case. I don't see any kind of seal there. Am I missing something?

What can I do to easily fix the problem (not interested in tearing the gearbox out and taking it apart.

80w-90 should be the correct oil & it will still leak from there. They all do. I think the drain & fill plugs are on the right side of the case. The fill plug is close to level with the axle. Do not fill to the top of the vent on top of the transmission case.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
