Al 6 Posted February 24, 2002 Hi, Might point out Unless it has changed Briggs does this for nothing. If you have it done, you can always go to a Magnatron. and if the magnets were starting to get weak in the flywheel they will come back at full strength. So there is nothing to lose. JonetteP 0 Posted February 24, 2002 If you send your flywheel to B$S, make sure you clean it very well. They are not a cleaning service and Expect there customers to understand that they do it as an added expense.( I do not Know ir they charge for it). Even if it costs money. They have been the best company to work with for us for many years. They are very organized. They will treat you with respect. The task of repolarizing the flywheel involves switching the polarity of the magnet. Once the magnetic force of your flywheel is reversed, you are in business. It has been done many times for us and is incredible in the results. Hope this helps.
