Finally getting around to posting this repair following MDB's deck repair.Saved a broadmoor 36" hopefully for a long time.

Did the same thing to the cab on our Ford F100. Looks good! What paint are you using for the orange?

I've welded patches into decks before, never thought of glassing them, how does it last with all the activity in a mower deck?

I see that you used a grinder on the top side of deck. Did you also use grinder on underneath side? How clean was the underneath side before you glassed it?

MDB Gave me the idea, he showed his 10 year fiberglass repair.

Paint color Dupli-color 1607 I believe.
