Answered an ad for a used Simplicity tractor for sale. Guy said tractor had a crate motor in it. Always heard that was the way to go when redoing these tractors so I bought it...I have been robbed! :o;)

Man, all this time I have been waiting to rebuild my original engine I could have put one of those in. Got a few in the shop just holding old parts.

id="quote">Funny you should say that! That's what's in the crate right now,;good usable parts from the original blown up motor! This way I can store the parts, trailer the tractor to storage and have extra parts for when I put in the replacement engine. Lots of 12hp Briggs in this size Simplicity tractor.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
