Steering spindles

I noticed yesterday that when I was working a hill and fell in a big hole the steering spindles on the front axle are vertically misaligned now. The wheel spindle that turns is fine but the caster setting is inclined forward(at the top) now. Does anyone have a pic or number of what the real setting is supposed to be when I fix it? I know they need to be castered rearward but not sure how much.

You describe "negative" caster on your tractor. On cars, there is usually a slight positive caster. I don't think the tractors should have just a slight positive caster, but I do not know of any specification. It would be very difficult to see a slight caster with the naked eye.

I used to work in a suspension shop so yes I know what you are referring to. This is distinctly the wrong angle I just don't recall what it is supposed to be initially. Memory serves that the B112 axle I have was more positive than this B12 ever was. That may have been from previous damage but this is the first I noticed it. The B112 is distinctly positive.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
