Brettw 1,129 Posted August 21, 2016 So, maybe you caught the One Hour Tractor story. Here is the "trade in". 3112V with a 16 hp replacement. My buddy is an electrician, so when he started having trouble with it running, he put in an auto coil and switched it all over to battery ignition. Ran it for a while and then had issues again so when he got the 7117 from me, I got this. Well, I take it home and it starts right up, runs great, no smoke lots of power, ramps right up and down without a hickup. Overall a tractor that has been used, but not abused. Has a rear lift and cast weights, the variable works just like it should and someone put a newer gas tank in it. Unfortunately someone also cut a bigger hole in the hood to accomodate the gas cap (arrrrrrhhhghgh!) But overall a great find. Deck runs out good, and it should he was cutting grass and working it up until recently. Anyway I really don't want to part it out. Not often you get a good variable and a good engine combo at the same time. Hopefully someone here who is into these can use it. I will be listing it soon. Simplicity7013H 95 Posted August 22, 2016 Looks nice BrettdOd What is that newer tank from? I've got a Wheel Horse tank in my 3112H and in my Squire 9. The Squire 9 I had to bend just the inner lip of the hole to make it fit. The 3112 I didn't have to do anything to.

Brettw 1,129 Posted August 22, 2016 Nope, no beer. It was offered however, but I was running late!
Talntedmrgreen 1,978 Posted August 23, 2016 My first tractor purchase was a 3012. Love the style of the 3012 & 3112, and you have a rare horse in a variable that works! Diggin' the 'low-tone' muffler too. Where are the pics of that?
dentwizz 6 Posted September 18, 2016 Reminds of dad's 2210 muffler. Has that flowmaster note at mid-through-idle. I would do the same thing if it didnt interfere with the snowblower.
