I'm looking to replace my triad with a Honda gx620. I have the shaft adaptor, looks like I need to put spacers in to raise the engine about 3/4". Don't think theres much else to do other than the wiring... does anyone know how to hook up the wiring? thanks

Spacing is 7/8". I put a GX620 in my 917H a few years back. It is in show and tell forum. May be able to help on wiring. I think I used a Triad harness. Is your Honda a K0 or K1. It shouldn't matter on the wiring.

You can use 7/8" or 13/16" unistrut or "jr. strut" with twist nuts to raise the engine up. Kindorff or Superstrut are other brand names. You can buy it a electrical and mechanical supply houses and Menards but Menards only has spring nuts, not twist or twirl nuts. Spring nuts don't work well with jr. strut.

Thanks for your help. Not sure what a ko or k1 is. Looked all over on engine and couldn't find anything that indicated those markings. GCAD is the engine type stamped on the block. I'm fairly new here and not very computer savy but I was unable to locate your old post Ray, not sure if they go away after awhile. Thanks again

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
