Wisconsin TR10D help

Just got a Bolens 1000 with a Wisconsin TR10D. When it's running it blows some smoke from the breather and blue smoke from the exhaust but the spark plug doesn't show any oil and is a perfect tan. If you put a load on the engine the smoking clears up. Any thoughts? I'm thinking rings but not quite sure as the plug doesn't have any oil on it. Thanks.
