I had a Sunstar, but the headache of finding the rear 3pt hitch and pto is wasnt worth the hassle. Would have ended up costing me more than this old girl cost me. Picked her up off craigslist, along with the 60" mid mount mower. Had a cooling issue, radiator core was plugged up tight and that took out the head gasket. I had the head machined flat again, cleaned up the injectors, new updated design head gasket and a brand new industrial core(higher flow rate)installed in the rad. The paint shines like new, always shedded, she is only 2wd but has diff lock. I am looking for ag tires for the rear now. Does anybody collect this short era in the history of Allis Chalmers? I do not see many of the green DA tractors get restored, be it a super gt/SCUT like mine or the the small lawn and garden tractors. Mike
