dhoadley
I don't know how you guys do it, but I can't, for the life of me find a part # for an exhaust valve bushing: B&S model #135202-0178-01. 5hp horizontal engine for my walk-behind leaf blower. I tried for 20 minutes and give up. As always, your help is greatly appriciated. Thanx, Dave
dhoadley
I'm just going to stop by the local power equipment shop tomorrow. It seems that there are only so many guides and I'm sure they'll have what I need. I have the guide removal tools coming this week and I've watched a friend do this job so, if I go slow and ask before forging ahead, I'll get it figured out. The valve clearance is way tight for both valves. In searching for advice, I read alot about going slow and how easy it is to take off too much, but nothing on actual technique. What have you found to be the best way to shave off a controlled amount from the end of the valve stem? Thanx, Dave
