D-17_Dave 12 Posted February 28, 2002 I'm familar with the HB212 but did they make a HB112? My lit. only covers the first year of the 100 series, was the hydro added just before the 200 line came out?

Kent 436 Posted February 28, 2002 Here's a pic of new member Ed England's original one... an HB-112 with hydraulic lift -- a quite rare tractor, I'd imagine... http://www.simpletractors.com/images/gallery_images/ee_hb212_small.jpg
SmilinSam 4,245 Posted February 28, 2002 That tractor is kinda special to Ed. In the 60's Ed was one of those many AC lawn & Garden Dealers that operated out of their homes. He sold that tractor new. Last year he bought it back from the person he sold it to those many years ago. Its in excellent shape mechanically, everything original even the engine and tires- and it does not use oil yet. Supposedly its going to a body shop this summer to get stripped down and professionally repainted and decaled for show. Ed is where I learned the ropes on AC and Simplicity. D-17_Dave 12 Posted February 28, 2002 Those two smileing faces on that HB112 are some of the great reasons I got interested in messing with these and the larger AC tractors. My 3 children of 8,5,3 years of age get to have a little fun and get to meet nice, family oriented people who love to share their time and information as well as a few great stories of days gone by. Thanks to all who share their time in this great hobby and may the Lord our God bless each of us and this great country. Thanks, Dave.
CleanBee 0 Posted March 1, 2002 My hat goes off to those out of home dealers that sold AC garden equipment. Can see that he knows a good tractor when he sees one. Great that the pride of using them will get handed down to the next generation. They look like they cant wait. Might need another tractor though? Dan

Karl_Brandt 6 Posted March 1, 2002 Hi Dave, I own a AC HB-112 with manual lift. I use my tractor to run a dumping trailer. [A href='http://www.simplicityva.com'][img src='http://www.simplicityva.com/Image012b.JPG'][/a]
