Allis Chalmers B10 worn cam shaft

Hello everyone! I just signed on as a member. I have a B10 AC that I've been battleing this whole last mowing season. I have come to the conclusion that it is a worn cam at the points rod. I've torn it down and I am correct. Questions I have are: Does anyone have a real good used cam for sale? and/or Someone told me that you can send the flywheel back to Briggs and they will make it so you can install magnetron ignition in this. Does anyone know anything about this and if so would you have a phone number, email address or snail mail address? Thanks, I'll be waiting for any replies.

Dont have any info on your cam, but if you do a keyword search on this discussion board and use "flywheel", "repolarize" and "magnetron" you will find all the info you need. This has been a very confusing subject. Good luck, Gene

The B10 used a 23D or could have a 243431 depending on age. Cam may be the same & we likely have one. Drop us an e mail for follow up. Bill, from home
