Hick 2,229 Posted November 9, 2016 (edited) When I worked at a L&G shop back in 2008, a Kohler engine was brought in with one of the "ears" that the starter bolts on to was broke off the block. Only "correct" way to fix it was replace the block. Boss had seen some of my less-than-orthodox fixes of my own and asked me if I thought I could rig something up. Sure, why not? SUCCESS!
