Never heard of a 830 AC. but, if you can find model, serial and code # on the briggs, the first didgets of the code # will date it for you.,MPH

WELL THERE IS NO VISIBLE NUMBER ON THE ENG, ANY IDEA WHERE I CAN FIND THEM. I KNOW THERE IS SOME SERIAL NUMBERS STAMPED O A SMALL PLATE BEHIND WHERE YOUR FEET WILL GO, LOCATED BELOW THE SEAT, THOSE NUMBERS ARE HARD TO REAR THO. .ANY IDEA WHERE I CAN FIND IT ON THE BRIGGS

Not having a clue what it looks like its hard to direct you, is it a vert or horz shaft engine? Another thought, if you go to the SimpletrACtor site and click on links there is a good link to briggs page, maybe you can figure where to look for #'s by reconizing your engine in the pics..MPH

i have an allis chamlers 830 drive on mower in my yard i need some help with. I dont know much about it, just that it has a briggs,stratton eng,one cylinder,electric start. I dont know a year or even where to find it. can anyone educate me in this piece of machinery or know where i can go to read up on it. Thanks.
