wiring question

I've looked at the wiring diagrams in the "service" section and the terminals of the voltage regulator are not labeled on the lighting diagrams.I also read the old posts. I'm still not sure what terminal the lights should go to on the voltage regulator? "B,F or G? or can I just tap the lights right off the battery itself? Thanks, Gene

Tie the lights to the "B" terminal. The diagram for a 7016 with a starter Generator show the keyswitch and lights powered off the "B" terminal. A fuse goes in the line between the battery side of the solenoid and the amp gauge and the line continues from the amp gauge to the switch. http://a3.cpimg.com/image/DB/9B/8901083-5e9b-01930200-.jpg
