ultimatehick 0 Posted March 2, 2002 I was woundering how to hook a mower deck up to a 7116H. I believe that i have all the parts but i just don't know how to put the idler wheel back up to the frame of the tractor. What i mean is the wheel that connects the cable from the mower deck to the hydro pump arm
Brent_Baumer 5 Posted March 2, 2002 Can you post a pic? Don't know of any cable or idler wheel from the deck to the hydro pump on that tractor.....
ScottS 0 Posted March 2, 2002 This may help. The other end of the chain attaches to the eye bolt sticking up on the bolt. However this may not be the way yours works I don't have a 7000 series.[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/clubhouse/ShowMessage.asp?MsgID=4632&mode=short&startwith=0']http://www.simpletractors.com/clubhouse/ShowMessage.asp?MsgID=4632&mode=short&startwith=0[/a]
Dutch 4 Posted March 2, 2002 It sounds like you're describing the 2.33" pulley for the deck lift cable. That pulley fits between brackets welded to the frame under the right side of the tractor. Be careful when installing. You need a spacer/bushing, a cable guard, a special bolt, and a lock nut. If not installed properly the cable will jump off the pulley and jamb between the brackets.[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/operation/simplicity_885%26886.htm'][img src='http://www.simpletractors.com/images/900_series_images/drive_line.jpg'][/a]

D-17_Dave 12 Posted March 3, 2002 Have'nt seen the underneth of a tractor that clean since I ran my D-17 off into the pond. Although I have thought about adding a large door near the fireplace so I can bring my projects inside during cold weather. That way I don't wast all that time heating the shop. And I'm closer to the fridge.
Dutch 4 Posted March 3, 2002 Marty, No paint damage. I turned the tractor upside down on the gold carpet in the living room (just left a few oil spots). Nothing is too much trouble for you guys............
Floydster 0 Posted March 3, 2002 I would never turn my tractor on it's side for a pic. Floydster
