Hi, I got information here before relating to the gears in the bevel gear box. I bought the gears and put them in last fall. A friend of mine came to my house after I got the thing together and found a ball bearing on the floor. I thought that it came from the bevel gear box so I didn't run the tractor. I just took it apart and found out the ball bearing did not come from my tractor. I just finished putting the tractor back together. The problem I have now is the tractor runs fine but I can't get it into gear. I had a friend help to try and figure out the adjustments but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Stan

Does the belt between the bevel gear box and the transmission stop when you push in the clutch/brake pedal? If not, the clutch and brake need to be adjusted.
