Ebay used engine parts.......Do you buy them?

Hey guys....I have been doing a lot of research on engine rebuilds.  Basically, do any of you guys buy parts off ebay?  I work on kohlers mostly, single and twins.  I see a lot of K series parts for sale with prices all over the place.  

What are your thoughts....

I have bought and sold engine parts on ebay without incident. Always had good luck but I guess it depends what the part is.

I am proud to say that my engine parts that I have sold on Ebay have kept many a tractor up and running.

I know there are alot of guys here who sell on ebay beside me.

never sold but I buy a lot , more HO train than tractor parts but never had any issues

Im an N scale train guy myself......I have extra parts I would like to sell soon.  Wondering if it was even worth it

I guess it would depend on the part. Something like a crank, or a head would probably be OK. Something electrical? I probably wouldn't.

BTW, HO guy here. But I haven't had a layout up in years.

I have bought and sold engine parts on e-bay, mostly Kohler KT, including coils, heads etc.  No problems either way.
