A friend of mine uses a zero turn with a front blade to clean his calf pens (pushes to the aisle).  Smaller, quicker and much less $$ than a small skid steer.

Neat!  Only problem, you need both hands on the levers all the time - you use your phone etc!

Went to church a couple weeks ago and a guy was plowing the church parking lot with a zero turn and blade on the front deck removed. He also had a self propelled salt spreader setting at his trailer.

So does mine...he doesn't even remove his grass collector for winter, and instead, throws some stuff in it for weight.  He has a 2 stage blower, about 50" wide, and moves an incredible amount of snow, extremely fast.
