Dutch 4 Posted March 5, 2002 Since my name was mentioned in at least 2 different threads this morning, I’m in my “thinking mode”. How about a dual purpose "Johnny Bucket" for you New England “Rock Pickers”? John Scheele could take one of his buckets, build a cross braced angle iron frame (to retain structural integrity), and offer interchangeable bottoms. A solid bottom to be used just like the existing bucket, and a grate for sifting rocks. Something like this, only with a grate for strength..... http://www.northerntool.com/images/product/images/1038421_lg.jpg
Kent 436 Posted March 5, 2002 Great idea, Herb. I'd also love to have scarifier teeth on mine, if they could be easily removed. I'm waiting on John to get his powder-coating operation going, so I can get the first "Johnny Box", a combination weight box and counterweight... I want to see how well the Johnny Bucket will work with hydraulic lift and a 150 lb (or so) counterweight on the rear lift.
