64 landlord front axle

I bought a 64 landlord with a three belt snow blower on it. The front axle looked loose, turns out its missing the angel iron piece that mounts to frame. Is this common?  Second tractor I've bought with same piece missing.  Does any one have one they would be willing to sell?  Any help would be much appreciated.

My 65 101 was missing that part as well.  Got to wonder why people would remove that part.  Makes the steering sloppy.
