flywheel needed

hi everyone i need a flywheel for a magnum 20 with electronic ignition stopped charging the magnets let go. i used epoxy to glue them back but kholer mechanic said that they have to be put back in the factory setting they have to be polarized any other suggestions or advice sure would be helpfull rebuilding a 7019 tractor and really enjoying the adventure. thanks in advance!!! my address is mobiman@aol.com
