Can anyone identify this? He says its supposed to be for an AC, but it has a long drive shaft on it...[A href='http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2007913020'][/a]

Sure looks retro fit to me Kent. That shaft with two pulleys just don't look OEM. Which AC's have a front/center PTO to run mower decks?? MPH

While we are on the subject of sicklemowers..... How much demand would there be do you think for a late model planetary type for the 700/900 series and 7000/7100 series Simplicity if one suddenly "somehow" appeared on Ebay???????....Great shape ,only missing the divider board and the seller would ship it in two boxes?????

Sam, I would be very interested in buying your sickle mower from you to keep the grass cut under the electric fence. Scott

I think it brought just over $200 the last time they auctioned it but it didn't make his reserve. At that time i beleave he said the previous owner was trying to use it on a Bolens. All the extra stuff can be removed easily, what he says, but do you get the original mount and pulley setup for the center drive? I have a sickle mower like that one cept its complete and original. I also have the newer model with the cable lift. I need the bracket with pulley that bolts to the side of the tractor for that one.

Do you suppose a buyer for that mower may have a use for this.......[A href='http://abacus.sj.ipixmedia.com/abc/M28/_EBAY_451e7609ec73c5b9463ae68756/i-1.JPG'][/a]

OK, I'll deal it straight-I don't want to torpedo someones "ship of hope' on owning a late model sickle mower, but if there are brave souls out ther daring enough to weather a $500 opening bid and pay the likely $75 shipping cost, I would likely list it oin Ebay real soon. Otherwise, I have only seen two of these in 8 years and would not be convinced to part with it for less. And they say women can't make up their minds???

Guest Jef
That there is a Model 990210 sickle mower made for the model 700/725 and B-1 It will work on all B Series and Simplicity equivalent. Wonderboy 700 didn't not have the double center PTO pulley so if it is orginal it would need to be updated. I have a Parts manual if someone needs a copy made. Jeff

The guy had that listed a couple weeks ago and it said someone had tried to retrofit it to another tractor and that all that extra stuff was easily removed to bring it back to original.
