johno107 0 Posted February 12, 2017 Been a while since I have been on this site and need your help I have a Agco Allis 918H and have put a 42" snow blower on it (NAPA A144" belt on it right now) The belt goes from the blower under the tractor to the power take off on the left side of the tractor under/near the seat What is the correct Simplicity number for this belt. A dealer could not help me with the numbers in the book Thanks John
rich_kildow 269 Posted February 12, 2017 I believe that is 1666798SM, which goes for about $70!!! You have the right size with the A144. FWIW I live in NW WI and while this year is an exception, blow snow on a 300 foot long, very wide driveway many times a year. I run Gates BladeRunner or HiPower belts from OReilly on everything without any issues. The only time I've had to replace the blower belt was when I didn't realize the idler tensioner pulley had a dent and kept throwing the belt. Eventually it through it between the PTO and frame, cutting a nice gouge into it and requiring replacement.
Brettw 1,129 Posted February 12, 2017 Look on the underside of the hood. There is usually a belt giude, just to verify the number.
