beamer 0 Posted March 11, 2002 I just got a sickle mower for my B210 #101029. It looks in excellent condition except for the bracket that actual slides the blad bar. Evidently the round bushing that goes in this bracket ripped through it. Can I still get parts for this thing or do I need to just weld it up. If I weld it I'm not sure of the exact diameter of the hole. Any help would be appreciated. Beamer
Kent 436 Posted March 11, 2002 Haban (who made all the garden tractor sicklebars that I'm aware of) no longer makes them -- not sure if they're even in business any more.... Bottom line is that parts are no longer available new -- you'll either have to find it gathering dust as old stock somewhere (I wouldn't count on that), or figure out a way to fix it.... christopher 0 Posted March 11, 2002 Some of the bushings and bearings are available from Jack's Small Engine right here on this site.
Kent 436 Posted March 12, 2002 I stand corrected -- I was going on only what I'd heard, since I don't own a sickle bar and never tried finding parts for one. I do know that the rock guards and sickles (knives) are no longer available...
