Floydster 0 Posted March 15, 2002 Dutch, The snow came so fast and heavy they pulled the plows of the roads, they couldn't keep up, here in Central Minn. we got a total of 17". The roads were really brutal last nite around this time, around 150 accidents in a 4 hr. period. Today the sun is out and it is really nice. I'm ready to put the plows away and smell that fresh cut grass!. Floydster
Dutch 4 Posted March 15, 2002 It looked really bad on TV. Glad to hear the sun is out. Maybe it will melt quick. March is an unpredictable month.
Tacey 0 Posted March 15, 2002 Here in Western Pennsylvania we're into Spring. I took my snowthrower off last weekend in a contrarian effort to coax a little snow, but no luck. Instead, I aerated some problem spots in the yard. I was checkin' out the stream in the backyard this AM. We have crocus, daffodil, daylilly, & skunk cabbage pokin' up. Global warming?? Dutch 4 Posted March 15, 2002 Floyd, The morning news showed many overturned cars and trucks out your way. Real slippery roads, or high winds?
