Lift lever slips

Recommended Posts

Any advice on keeping the lift arm and snowthrower in the raised position? The lever and thrower drop if I am going down the block to the neighbors unless I hold it up. Could it be too much play in the front hitch pins or is it the handle catch not engaging. Thanks for any thoughts.

Sounds like the lever pawl (dog) could be jumping out of the quadrant notch. Does it happen when the tractor hits a bump? Check the adjustment, and for worn parts. You may need to rig up a transport chain.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
