Guest
I'm too lazy to research today.. What is the quickest method to change the rear axle seals in my B-10 without me making extra work for myself by not knowing pitfalls. Thank you, M. carter
Take it to your local dealer. Sorry about that but I just couldn't resist. See message 6096 for a pretty good discussion of the problems. Ron

JonetteP
Hi Marion, you can replace the axle seals in about an hour. Get the seals and then make sure you have a roll of clear shipping tape. Use the tape to cover up the shaft to prevent damaging the seal. When your done, use carb cleaner to remove any deposits left buy the tape. Hope this helps. globalmkts
You don't have to take the transmission housing apart? I know this is a shortcut, but isn't doing it this way advised only if you are VERY experienced????
