I need help

I have a mid 2000's Simplicity Prestige with  20hp kohler and I need some help. I went to get the tractor out of the shed I hit the key and it wouldn't crank over. So I checked the battery it was fine. I've even charger it since then. I have power to fuel pump I can hear it clicking when I turn the key. My lights work and my electronic dash works. I checked the brake safety switch is working so is the seat. My cruise is also in off position.  I can start it by jumping the selinoid which tells me I have power to the started. But it does nothing when I turn the key. Oh and I also had a new key switch that I put in it and that didn't matter. Also when I had it running my dash went blank and it died then as the rpms slowed down the dash came back on and if I hit the choke it started back up for a little bit but it would keep on doing the same thing. I also cleaned my ground that is mounted to the frame. I hope someone can give me some insight because I'm getting frustrated. Thanks

I have unplugged the key switch and completely cleaned the terminals and connections, including every other harness I can find, and have found that just doing that can fix an infinite number of electrical gremlins.
