dadskc135
What is it worth? , tractor, mower deck ,snowblower, sickle bar mower. Were B212's yellow? Ebay no. 2009002103
Kent
Yes, it was yellow. Here's what it used to look like.... IMO, I think he may have set the reserve too high on this one to get things going... In comparison, I paid $575 for a B-210 in slightly better mechanical shape perhaps (later replacement engine with electronic ignition) and cosmetically pretty comparable. My attachments weren't as rusty. It came with snowblower, snow/dozer blade and the mower deck. It also had the desirable hydraulic lift... He has the sicklebar, but in what shape?[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/models/b_series/take_charge.htm'][img src='http://www.simpletractors.com/images/b_series_images/ac_b-2121x1.jpg'][/a]
Kent
I didn't mean to offend -- I was just trying to offer an opinion as to why there had been no bids. Also notice that I didn't venture a guess on the value of your package, only stated what I paid for mine. IMO, setting too high a starting price on eBay can scare people away if you're also using a reserve, since they don't know where your reserve is, and they think it may be a waste of their time. I think it works best as an either/or... either start it low with a reasonable reserve, or start it higher with no reserve and the bidder is "guaranteed" a sale.... My 2 cents from observing Ebay -- but you really never know what an item will do on there -- I'm regularly surprised by the results....
Lost_Cause
No offense taken. Been an EBayer for over 2 years and you are right. High starting bids sometimes scare people away as do high reserves! We place the higher starting bid (which I lowered) to actually scare away the people who want something for nothing I call them wanna bee's Lots of time those kind of people are lookers and or kids playing on computers. The reserve isn't really that bad with what is in the package I been emailed by a few who want me to part the package out which I might just do. Thanks for your opinion Check out the gallery I just sent pictures of the replacement tractor the way I bought it Sweet machine for being all orginal!! Marion_Kerr
Stuff looks pretty rough to me. Note - it says sickle bar has been welded on without much description. I think it's had hard use without alot of care but, we buy them to fix em' most of the time!! If I was in the market, about $350 max...
Lost_Cause
In my own defense!! The attachments are very DIRTY!! I didn't get the pressure washer out to wash thm! The sickle bar "cut bar" was welded. The sickle bar mower might have been used 30 times if that! The mower deck was totally rebuild and used 1 season since!! The tractor sat idle for over 4 years. I might have it sat high BUT the thing is I Own it and I just picked up the mate this morning.
