gretsch
How wide do the rims need to be for high flotations to fit?
JeffG
Exactly, Steve. The rims are larger for the high flotation tires. I think PowerMax Paul bought a set of "bar turf" tires that fit on his turf-tire rims. Otherwise, the 31-15.5-15 high flotation tires are still available from Goodyear. I saw the exact tires, used on these PowerMax's, on a new Kubota B7500. Jeff
powermax_paul
Butch, I think you can buy a 6 bolt truck rim and mount the 31x15.5-15 tires. How wide, I don't know. I do know the tires run about $160 to $180 each. As I remember, the 29x12.5-15 lugged tires were about half that. Oops! The 29x12.5-15 lugged tires are now $115 each. gretsch
Thanks for the responses & emails on the baldwin filters. Where can used or new 31-15.5-15 high flotation tires be found or ordered? I'm considering adding a set to my powermax. Are they much better than the 29-12-15 turf tires? Thanks
Tuffy
I think the rims are bigger too. It is not just a swap of tires. Steve
